Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr. or popularly known by his stage name Alden Richards is one of the most popular actors and TV hosts in the Philippines. He rose to prominence after he was accidentally paired up with his Eat Bulaga co-host Maine Mendoza or popularly known as "Yaya Dub" during an episode of the "Juan for All, All for Juan" segment of the said program.

And these past few months, Alden has been making rounds on social media after rumors about him not renewing his contract to GMA network circulated all over the social media.

But to clarify this issue at proved that he will remain as Kapuso, Alden signed the new contract to the GMA Network. After renewing the contract, the actor said that he never thought of moving to another network, especially since he was treated well on GMA 7.

Alden added that during his nine years as a Kapuso, the network has not been as stingy with him as the network allowed him to do projects in other productions.

Aside from that, Alden also announces a big surprise to his fans on his Instagram account.

In an Instagram post, Alden posted a photo of himself with a caption that reads: "Malapit na tayong magkasama ulit! Save the date: Dec. 8 #AldensReality #AldenRoadToTen."

The said post of Alden immediately elicited mixed reactions from the netizens. Some of his fans are thinking that it might be his concert as a part of the celebration of his ten years since he debuted as an actor. But as we all know, a concert is still prohibited as the pandemic in the country is still ongoing.

But whatever it is, his fans couldn't help but be excited over this surprise of the actor to them.

As of now, there is still no update that Alden is giving about the big news on his post.
